We are bound by the Patent Attorneys’ Code of Conduct (Federal Law Gazette I 1966, p. 557, last amended by Federal Law Gazette I 2001, p. 3656), the Professional Code of Conduct of Patent Attorneys (Mitt. 1997, 243 ff.) and the FICPI Code of Professional Conduct (available on the internet presentation of ficpi, Fédération Internationale des Conseils en Propriété Intellectuelle, Switzerland).

As professional representatives before the European Patent Office, we are members of the EPI Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office, Munich (Germany), and are subject to the Code of Professional Conduct of the epi (epi-Information 2/2001, p. 75).

As professional representatives before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the framework for our activities is given by the regulations on the EU trade mark, which can be viewed at EUIPO – European Union Intellectual Property Office, Alicante, ES (Art. 89 of COUNCIL REGULATION (EC) No 40/94 of 20 December 1993 on the EU trade mark and R 76, 77, 78 of COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No 2868/95 of 13 December 1995 implementing Council Regulation (EC) No 40/94 on the EU trade mark).
