Vita
Dr. Alina Schiecke studied biology with a focus on virology, molecular biology, and biotechnology at the University of Hamburg. She then worked for several years in cancer research. During her doctorate at the Institute of Anatomy and Experimental Morphology of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), she specialized in the metastasis of human pancreatic carcinoma. This was followed by a postdoctoral position at the same institute.
Personal
Dr. Alina Schiecke enjoys traveling and exploring different places and cultures. She spends a lot of time with friends and family and values shared activities. Sports play an important role in her life. She has been an avid tennis player for many years and also worked as a coach for a long time.
