Design Registrations

We represent our clients before the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO/DPMA) as well as before the European Union Intellectual Property Office - EUIPO (formerly Office of Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM)), the office responsible for Community Designs.

In co-operation with you we check whether an individual or a collective registration will form the most suitable means for protecting your new product design. Together with you, we select the optimal representations of the design for the application to be filed. Assisted by our qualified staff, we follow up your application during registration procedures before the relevant authorities.

We assist you in enforcing claims from your design registrations and act as your partners of correspondence whenever third parties feel that you encroach on their rights by the manufacture or distribution of your products. We draft license agreements and are prepared to assist you in the relevant negotiations.
